WELCOME TO BLACK POWDER SHOOTING

AMERICA'S CONSTITUTION BEGAN WITH SIMPLE RIGHTS FOR PEOPLE WHO CAME HERE BECAUSE THEIR RIGHTS WERE NONEXISTANT IN THE EUROPEAN SPHERE.  THEY FORGED A STRONG CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS. THE SECOND AMENDMENT GUARANTEES THE RIGHT OF AMERICANS TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.  IN TODAYS WORLD, PEOPLE HERE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY ARE TRYING TO TAKE THOSE RIGHTS AWAY FROM YOU.  YOU NEED TO STAND STRONG AND JOIN THOSE ORGANIZATIONS WHO WILL FIGHT WITH YOU TO KEEP THOSE RIGHTS.  BLACK POWDER SHOOTING IS ONE OF THOSE SPORTS THAT IS BECOMING A LESS UNDERSTOOD PROGRAM.

WE AS AMERICANS NEED TO STAND UP TO THE ONES TRYING TO TAKE AWAY OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHTS AND FORGE THAT BOND WITH OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS AND KNOW THAT THIS IS THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.

The New Jersey Black Powder Association has emerged as the only black powder shooting association in North Jersey. We embrace the second amendment, and feel that we are the embodiment of the writers of that amendment.  Our members feel that it is our God given right to keep and bear arms, and we keep these tenets as a family based organization.  We have events that are structured around the family, and many of the children best the adults when it comes to competition.  Our site is located in the northern New Jersey hills , very close to the New York State Line.  We have members from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We encourage you to stop by during one of our meetings, which takes place on the last Sunday of the month.  After the meeting, we usually have a guest speaker, then we go up the hill to have an afternoon of hawk throwing, skeet shooting or  mortar practice. It depends who is there as to what we are doing that day.

Please browse our site and let us know how you liked it.
